Thank you again for choosing me to capture your precious family pictures. I am very honoured to be your photographer. To make the session go smoothly and achieve the best possible photos, I have put together some details about preparing for your shoot, what to expect, and what to do during the session.

 

Lifestyle is a 1-hour session. The photoshoot is done at my lifestyle studio in Mulgrave, VIC. I use a combination of natural and studio lighting for this shoot. The Lifestyle package is a candid, minimal editing session. It is a storytelling style photoshoot designed to capture you and your family as naturally as possible. Please make sure you pay attention to your hair and makeup before arriving at the studio, as detailed retouching is not included in the package.

If you have a young baby (0-3 Months) please feed your baby before arriving to the studio. Your baby will be wrapped in your choice of colour. Headbands and hats from our newborn studio will be available for your baby to borrow during the photoshoot. Older babies (3-12 months) will be able to borrow one of our outfits to wear during the photoshoot. 

Your photoshoot starts when you arrive to the studio and ends after 1 hour. 

 

During the session, I'll ask you to sit with your newborn at different spots in the studio. This Lifestyle session is designed to capture you, your newborn and your family naturally, so I won't directly pose you but will instead guide you into natural interactions and movements. I recommend wearing neutral colours, with warm off-white and light grey being ideal. Please avoid bold or dark colours. Within 1 week after the session, you will receive an email invitation to your proof gallery where you can view your photos from the session and pick your favourite images. Your package includes 20 professionally edited digital images. If you would like additional photos, extra images can be ordered at an affordable price. Extra orders must be paid in full before editing can begin. Once you have finalised your favourite list and any remaining balance has been paid in full (if applicable), I'll edit your selected images to the highest Together Nest standard and deliver them digitally within 14 business days.

 

The gallery will be active for you to access for 2 weeks. After that, the photos will be kept on my hard drive for 1 year and can be re-uploaded for a small fee.

A small non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is to be paid before starting the session. Please discuss payment options with me if required.
